The Ghana Premier League goal tally reached a significant milestone on Friday as the half-century goal was scored during Asante Kotoko's clash with Inter Allies at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Porcupine Warriors defeated 'Eleven Is To One' 1-0 thanks to a Dauda Mohammed 59th minute strike.
Dauda, who had come off the bench scored the goal that went into the books as the 50th goal of the 2014/15 season Ghana Premier League season.
He capitalised on an Ibrahim Alhassan misjudgment inside the box to bury the ball home for the solitary goal of the season.
For the young attacker, it was a double joy for him as he took his personal tally to two in two games and also go into the books with the goal.
However his two goals are three short of Hearts of Oak's Gilbert Fiamenyo who has netted five times in the opening three games of the season and still has a game in hand at Bechem United on Saturday.
Dauda joins a list of five players who have scored two goals in the current season - Osman Muntaka (Heart of Lions), Kennedy Ashia(Liberty Professionals), Samuel Afful (Sekondi Hasaacas), Stephen Baffour (Berekum Chelsea) and Great Olympics Kwame Boateng.
