Ghana defender John Paintsil has confirmed he will go into coaching after retiring from active football.
The 33-year-old is considered to be in the twilight of his career which has spanned over a decade.
Paintsil remains adamant he still has a lot of football in him to play competitively a lot longer.
But the former Fulham man has confirmed he will be taking his coaching badges and will coach the Black Stars if the opportunity avails itself.
“I will coach, I am going to do my coaching badges,” he said on Metro TV’s Kickoff show.
“Anywhere I get the opportunity, I will coach even if it is the Black Stars.”
