Ghana coach Avram Grant has accused CAF of biased treatment against his team ahead of the crucial game against Algeria on Friday.

The Black Stars were made to do their official pre-match training session in Oyala which is almost an hour’s drive away from Mongomo.

The team’s official pre-match press conference was also set at 7pm local time.

Ghana is desperate for a win against the tournament favourites on Friday following the disappointing 2-1 defeat suffered against Senegal in their opening Group C match.

And Grant believes the long drive and hectic press conference schedule is calculated to disrupt his preparations for the crucial game.

“The journalist that were here the last time know I said good things about the organization [of 2015 AFCON] but I must say now I am not so happy,” he said.

“I have coached for a long time and I don’t think it is right to set a press conference at a time I am supposed to be with the team.

“Secondly on the day before the game we have to drive over one and a half hour for training.

“The reason why I came [to press conference] is that I respect the work of the journalist.

“But that wouldn’t be the case next time.

“Then they don’t allow us to train near our hotel but allow Algeria to train near their hotel.

“The change the venue of the training and we asked that they bring it close but they refused.

“And the bus we have moves like a ship, we are the only team with this kind of bus.”

woe!!! This is not the first time in Africa Tournament. Mr. Grant, you are right but failure is not an option. Not even draw. Make your team play to your rules and formation and I'm sure Algeria will be No match for Black Stars.

Mr. Grant, u better get used to it. We don't care about whether u are allowed to train or not. You have no option than to deliver. You decided to prepare for the tourney in Europe, instead of taking advantage to study the African terrain. And hey, let ur face exude confidence, aahba!

Well said Mr Grant. Typical Africans don't complain and that's why we are constantly in poverty and suffering. That explains why we brought a white man to to take charge of our team so that we could be heard by CAF. Well done Avram. Pls do what it takes to win this AFCON for Ghana. The Black man is a hypocrite. When they are suffering, they refuse to speak until they die. Unbelievable us.
