Ghana coach Avram Grant says he has not snubbed players from the local league in his call-ups to the Black Stars.
The Israeli manager has been under fire from the local media and fans over his absence from the country since being appointed as Ghana coach.
The criticism heightened this week when his agent Saif Rubie told the BBC that Grant is unable to sit in the country to monitor the league because the talents have left the country.
His critics claim his inability to monitor the league is the reason why he has been unable to call players from the FIrst Capital Plus Premier League.
However, the former Chelsea manager says there is no such classification as a local player or a foreign player when considering players for the national team, insisting that his target is to build a solid national team with the best.
"For me there is no local or foreign player; my doors are opened to all. All of them are Ghanaian players who need to give everything for their country," Grant said.
Grant's latest squad includes two home-based players - goalkeepers Richard Ofori of Wa All Stars and Fatau Dauda of AshGold.
