Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations players left Accra on Tuesday night to join their respective clubs in Europe.

Italy-based duo Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu and Afriyie Acquah, Frank Acheampong and Baba Rahman were spotted at the Amsterdam Airport on Wednesday morning.

From there, they would connect to their bases and join.

Acquah, will first visit his wife Amanda, who suffered a road accident in Germany, before joining his new club Sampdoria.

The Ayew brothers Jordan and Andre, Mubarak Wakaso (Celtic), Mohammed Rabiu (Kuban Krasnodar) and Jonathan Mensah (Evian TG) were reported to have joined their clubs.

Ghana players will return to their clubs shoulder high after a brave fight in the final which saw them lose 9-8 on penalties to Ivory Coast.
