Ghana Under 20 skipper Owusu Bempah admits they are in a tough group ahead of Africa Youth Championship

Ghana under 20 skipper Owusu Bempah, admits they face a herculean task in the upcoming Africa Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites have been drawn alongside Mali, Zambia and South Africa in Group B of next month’s African Youth Championship.

The tournament which will be the 19th edition of the biennial competition will be staged in Senegal from 8-22 March.

The national Under-20 who placed 2nd at the last edition will play their opening game in the group against South Africa on 9 March 2015 at the Caroline Faye Stadium.

They will then face Zambia and Mali in subsequent group matches at the same venue.

And Bempah admits the group is a tough one

“We are in a tough group I must admits because Ghana is a big name when it comes to Under 20 football,” Bempah told Accra based Citi FM

”All teams are equal and but we are concentrating on our strength and the two weeks we will spend in Turkey should shape us up.”
