Technical director of the Ghana Football Association Francis Oti Akenteng says he is sad to see Herbert Addo fail at Hearts of Oak after a bright start.

Addo, came to a mutual agreement with the management of Hearts of Oak to terminate his contract.

This is as a result of a series of poor results that  saw the club fail to reach the MTN FA cup despite watching bitter rivals Asante Kotoko make light weight of Aduana Stars to book their place in the final.

Before that the 2000 CAF Champions league winners lost at home for the first time against Hasaacas in the league.

Oti Akenteng who holds a close relationship with Herbert Addo says he is sad to see him leave in such circumstance.

“Oh coaches, who will truly understand our course? It is probably high time we dealt with factors affecting performance in a national forum for all stakeholders in soccer so that novices will not take us for a ride anymore”. Akenteng is quoted by sportscrusader.com

“Very interesting. I hope we make a good case study of this situation for Ghana football”
