Gennaro Gattuso expressed his disappointment after Napoli succumbed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Parma at the Tardini: "Losing like this makes me furious. Parma didn't have any shots from open play. We passed the ball around well, but we haven't managed to take our chances recently and we've been struggling to make the most of our attacking openings".
"We improved in the second half. We played better than in the first half, but we struggled to impose our game on them in the final third. We didn't have an out-and-out striker this evening, but I enjoyed [Hirving] Lozano's display. He performed in that role and showed what he can do."
Gattuso reacted to the penalties: "I don't think any of them should've been given, even ours. The referee is young and he acted in good faith, but I feel these decisions leave room for doubt".
