Gambia have named their starting XI for Thursday’s UFOA-A U17 semi-final against Liberia at Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar.
Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 GMT on 17 September 2026, with the winners securing a place in the final as well as qualification for CAN U17 2027 in Morocco.
Captain Omar Marong leads the Gambian side, with Omar Badjie, Mamadi Camara, Sharif Touray, Abdoulie Nyang, Alieu Saine and Assan Colley also starting. Vanou Gomez has been selected in goal.
Gambia’s starting XI is: Vanou Gomez, Ousman Tamba, Sanna Saidykhan, Faburama Jaiteh, Omar Marong (captain), Omar Badjie, Mamadi Camara, Sharif Touray, Abdoulie Nyang, Alieu Saine and Assan Colley.
The substitutes are Muhammed Trawally, Sheikh Ngum, Ebrima Kanyi, Adama Jeng, Muhammed Jatta, Lamin Fatty, Momodou Barry, Kemo Sanneh and Momodou Lamin Jatta.
