Fulham FC Vice Chairman Tony Khan has hinted that the club has an option to sign Ola Aina on a permanent deal from Italian side Torino.

Speaking to Fulham FC TV on the arrival of the 23-year-old Nigerian defender who arrived at the club on a long season loan deal on last week, Khan said the club will weigh the option to buy the player if the season goes according to plans.

“I’m pleased on the arrival of Ola Aina to Fulham on loan from Torino. Ola is an exciting young player who can further strengthen our squad this season in the Premier League.

“In our loan agreement, we’ve secured an option for a permanent transfer for Ola to potentially remain at Fulham if this season proves to be a good fit for us, which is a great situation for the Club given our belief in Ola’s talent and in his potential,” he said.

Aina was born in London and is a youth product of Chelsea's Academy.

He had a loan stints with English Championship side Hull City, before joining Torino in a £9milion pounds deal.

The Nigeria International was a regular for Torino last season, playing 37 times in all competitions.
