Nigeria Super Eagles, midfielder, Frank Onyeka wishes to leave English Premier League side, Brentford before the end of the summer transfer window, Nigeriasoccernet.com has gathered.
According to the BBC, the midfield maestro is unhappy about his limited game time with Brentford since his return from the African Cup of Nations.
Onyeka who had played 16 matches of the 2023/2024 season prior to the Nations Cup had to sit on the bench three times and was not included in the squad two times after his return to the team.
It is reported that Onyeka could have moved in January with clubs like Girona seeking to acquire his services on loan.
At the moment, there are clubs in Europe seeking to get the strong player who propelled Nigeria to the finals of the African Cup of Nations in Cote D'Ivoire.
The transfer of the Nigerian to another club is still subject to the terms of the west London side as Onyeka has a contract until 2027, with an option for an extra year also included in his deal.
