Nnamdi Collins, the Germany-Nigeria defender at Eintracht Frankfurt, has been linked with a move to Chelsea in the Premier League.
The 22-year-old centre-back has made four Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt this season, starting 38% of the club’s league games and playing 39% of the available minutes. He has also made one appearance in the DFB-Pokal.
Collins joined Frankfurt from Borussia Dortmund II in August 2023 for a reported €1m. His current market value is listed at €20m, highlighting the potential scale of any deal should Chelsea pursue the defender.
A right-footed central defender, Collins came through Dortmund’s youth system before progressing to the club’s second team. He won the German Under-19 Bundesliga title with Dortmund in the 2021-22 season and was also part of the side that claimed the German Under-19 Bundesliga West championship that year.
The transfer link comes with Collins tied to Frankfurt until 30 June 2030, meaning the Bundesliga club would not be under immediate pressure to sell. The available information does not indicate that negotiations have begun or that an offer has been made.
Collins remains a Frankfurt player, with his current involvement this season consisting of four league appearances and one cup appearance.
