Remo Stars FC’s Togolese international, Franck Mawuena, has joined Tuwaiq SC in the Saudi Arabian second division, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The striker spent the last two seasons with Remo Stars, where he helped them win their first-ever league title, and he left after the expiration of his contract.
The former Rivers United player signed a contract extension with Remo Stars in July 2024, which saw him remain with the Sky Blue Stars for the 2024/2025 season.
He later extended for another year before the expiration of the contract in July 2025, after making 44 appearances and scoring nine goals for the team.
