Former Italy striker Francesco Caputo has joined Empoli in a role working with the club’s young players, having ended his playing career at the beginning of 2025.
The veteran forward represented Empoli on two separate occasions during his career. He will now remain at the club to help support the development of its emerging players.
Empoli are currently 10th in the Serie B table, the second tier of Italian football.
