France: Simon, Moffi's goals come handy for Nantes, Lorient

Super Eagles forward, Moses Simon's late goal helped Nantes secure a point as they drew 2-2 at home to AC Ajaccio ij the French Ligue 1 on Sunday, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

The Nigerian winger scored in the 89th minute to commemorate his 100th game for the club.

The 27-year-old ended his 5-goal drought with the goal which is his 5th of the season.

The visitors scored the first goal of the game in the 57th minute through Mohamed Youcef Belaili. They scored the second goal in the 66th minute through Romain Hamouma.

Four minutes after conceding the second goal, Ludovic Blas pulled one back for Nantes before Simon scored at almost 90 minute to complete the comeback.

Terem Moffi also got into the scorers' book after scoring in Lorient FC's 1-1 draw against Strasbourg in the match day 15 of the French Ligue 1.

Moffi put the ball at the back of the net in the 5th minute to give Lorient the lead before parity was restored late in the second half.

The goal was his tenth goal of the season now third behind behind Mbappe and Neymar of PSG.

He becomes the first African player to reach double for goals in Europe’s top five leagues this season.

Moffi and Innocent Bonke played ninety minute for Lorient FC in the game.
