Despite still having a rolling contract with Abia Warriors, SportingLife has gathered that the head coach of the club, Kennedy Boboye has at least four top flight clubs eyeing to sign him up ahead of the second stanza of the league slated to start this weekend.
SportingLife has not got a clear picture of what could be responsible for the series of offers in the Super Eagles’ assistant coach’s direction but a source close to the former Sunshine Stars’ coach hinted that his assignment with the senior national team could be a factor.
He also told SportingLife that there are other reasons best known only to the coach for the interest shown by four clubs for his services ahead of the second stanza.
Boboye led Abia Warriors to ninth on the log with 27 points from 17 matches and are still with a game at hand against Enyimba before completing the first round fixtures.
