Nassarawa Amazons shot-stopper, Rita Akharekor, has completed move to Moroccan top-flight side Association Municipal Laâyoune de Football féminin, AMLFF.

The former Bayelsa Queens and Sunshine Queens safe hands joined for a short stint with the North African club side.

Akarekor shared the picture of her unveiling and excitement of joining the club via her Instagram page.

She was part of coach Christopher Danjuma's 21-woman squad for the 2018 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup in France.

She becomes the first foreign goalkeeper to be signed by AMLFF and is expected to be involved as the 2022/2023 El Botola Pro will commence on the 16 of October 2022.

AMLFF last won the league in 2012 and will be hoping to dethrone defending champions, AS FAR.
