Former player Samuel Inkoom lauds Dnipro for historic qualification to finals of Europa League

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has congratulated his former club FC Dnipro for their historic passage to the finals of the Europa League.

The Ukrainian side qualified for their first ever finals in Europe after an epic 1-0 win to edge Napoli in the semi finals on a 2-1 aggregate score.

The historic win saw the passionate fans of the side stage a pitch invasion to celebrate the historic feat of their club.

Dnipro will now be facing Spanish club Seville in the finals of the Europa League on May 27.

Samuel Inkoom who endured a torrid spell at the club under Juande Ramos is willing the team to go all out to clinch the title.

"Congratulations to @fcdnipro with their great historic #EuropaLeague semi-final win and wish good luck in the Final," Inkoom who is currently a free agent Tweeted.

The finals of this year's Europa League will be played in Warsaw.
