Former Liverpool Midfielder Claims He Doesn't Miss Playing for Reds at All

"?Former Liverpool attacking midfielder Suso has revealed that he does not miss the club one bit, and is happy with life at AC Milan.

The 22-year-old Spaniard signed a four-year deal with the Serie A club last year, having spent three years at Liverpool, where he had impressed at first after breaking into the first team in the 2012/13 season.

Things curtailed thereafter, however, and would only be compounded after he was fined £10,000 by the FA for posting what was deemed to be a homophobic tweet regarding teammate Jose Enrique.

He was later shipped to Almeria on loan, where he scored three goals and delivered nine assists in 35 appearances. His contract was not extended upon his return, and was cancelled early so he could move to Milan in January, 2015, six months before the official expiration date.

Suso was also loaned to Genoa from Milan, but now looks like he's ready to become a mainstay in the squad after impressing last season.

"When I was running down my contract with Liverpool, AC Milan came with the proposal," he told Milan TV.

"Such a chance I could not pass up and I think I have made the right choice. Here I have everything and I do not miss anything."

He received great encouragement from teammate Carlos Bacca last month after a splendid performance. The Colombian striker had been complaining about the lack of service in the side, but seems happy to have Suso playing alongside him now.

"I always look to be on the pitch, but I am a professional and I respect the coach's decision," he said to Football Italia.

"I work for this, to be on the pitch. I thank God that I came on and scored the goal. I need to do my talking on the pitch.

"I've spoken to [Montella] and it's over now. I play with players who can play well. Today Suso gave me good service."
