Former Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey is a transfer target for Hearts of oak after his failed move in Egypt.

Bancey who scored 12 goals to aid Kotoko win the league title last season has since been without a club after his contract was abrogated by Egyptian side Smouha.

The local Black Stars has been seen training with Kotoko in the early part of the season but CEO of the porcupine warriors ruled any possible return for him.

“Seidu’s agent is looking at the prospects of sending him abroad so we are not on for him,” Opoku Nti told GHANAsoccernet.com

With the transfer window closed and clubs unable to add to their squad Bancey has been linked with a move to Hearts of Oak who will definitely be looking to adding a proven front man to their arsenal.

“We have players we are looking and it’s too early to talk about them some have played in the local league which I would have loved to add to my team now but the window is closed,” Coach Herbert Addo said

‘”I do not want to mention name but we will see how this season goes and then we take it from.”
