Uruguayan forward Daniel Fonseca, regarded as one of the leading strikers in Italian football during the first half of the 1990s, has recalled his contacts with Milan.
Fonseca never played for the Rossoneri, despite saying: “Berlusconi dreamed of me.”
The striker instead represented several prominent Italian clubs during his career, including Cagliari, Napoli, Roma, Juventus and Como.
