The Nigeria Flying Eagles ahead of the quarter final tie against Uganda on Friday have placed priority on securing qualification for the U-20 World Cup. Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Nigeria U-20 at the on going African Cup of Nations won their last two group games after losing their opener, thereby going a date with the Ugandans in the quarterfinals.

A win for Nigeria places the team on a verge of wining the tournament for record eight times but Samsom Lawal, one of the goals scorer against Mozambique in the last group game, will prefer to focus on winning the game and securing the World Cup ticket in Indonesia.

“My plan for the next game is to play well and qualify for the semifinal, we should get World Cup ticket.” The forward said.
