Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick singled out Gerard Martin for praise after his side beat Getafe 3-0 in La Liga on Saturday.
The 24-year-old Spain defender started the match and completed the full 90 minutes as Barcelona secured a comfortable victory.
The game also marked Martin’s 100th appearance for Barcelona’s first team in all competitions. Originally a left-back, he has since adapted to a centre-back role.
Across those 100 matches, Martin has scored one goal and provided seven assists.
