The unveiling of the newly appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, Finidi George, has provided answers to some questions of the details to his one-year contract, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports. Finidi is set to receive a monthly salary of N15 million.
The substantial sum solidifies his position as the highest-paid indigenous coach in Nigerian football history.
While Finidi will enjoy this generous salary package, it's been noted that his five assistants will receive only allowances and other bonuses.
The former Ajax winger will need to start earning his pay from henceforth starting with the battle against South Africa in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The encounter is scheduled to take place at the iconic Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, June 7.
