The road to the FIFA World Cup kicks off on Thursday 15 January in Miami, when the first qualifiers will be drawn in the North, Central America and the Caribbean Zone.
Just hours before the draw, FIFA has confirmed that for the first time in the history of the World Cup, all 209 Member Associations have registered for its preliminary competition.
The first matches in the run for the 31 Spots at the Tournament in 2018 will be played between March 23 and 31 between the CONCACAF teams, that will be drawn in Miami.
