With the issues troubling Nigerian Football taking a turn for the worse following the tussle for the spot of the NFF president, former Technical Director of the then NFA Tunde Disu has stated clearly that FIFA would stand by their statutes and not recognize Chris Giwa as the president of the NFF.
In a chat he stated that the best way out of the current debacle is to allow Amaju Pinnick finish his tenure as president after which fresh elections would be done.
Disu warned that choosing to disregard the World Governing Body’s sanction threats could have an unbearable effect of on the various national teams
