Akwa United head coach, Deji Ayeni says his team is ready for today’s Federation Cup Round 32 tie against EFCC Football Club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The Uyo based outfit is believed to stand a better chance but Maikaba will not undermine his Abuja based opposition.

Akwa United defeated WIkki Tourists 1-0 in the previous round while EFCC edged out Katukan Tsafe FC.

“We have our game plan and tactics on how to approach the game. We have lots of respect for any team we face,” he said in a pre-match interview as per Daily Post.

“We will go out there and do our best while focusing on making it to the next round.

“FA Cup is a knockout competition and we know very well that there is always no second chance.”

Akwa United have won the Federation Cup twice in the past.
