Ghana defender Daniel Opare has been left out of the FC Porto pre-season squad for their tour of Germany despite ending his loan spell at Turkish Super League side Besiktas.

The Portuguese giants have included the former Standard Liege full-back in their Team B squad while the first team continue their pre-season tour in Germany where they have played two games.

Opare, 24, is in limbo following over  where he will play in the upcoming season following Besiktas' failure to reach a deal with FC Porto to sign him permanently.

The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup gold medalist joined Besiktas in the second-half of last season and scored once in over nine appearances for the Black Eagles.

Besiktas are still hoping to land the defender on permanent basis but his return to Porto has sparked reports of breakdown of talks and deal failure.

Porto manager Julen Lopetegui will a decision on the former Standard Liege defender when he returns to Portugal.

But, with the transfer window still opened, Opare could head on loan once again as he seems not to be in the place of the Spanish gaffer.
