Father-Agent of Simone Zaza Admits Time at West Ham Is Nearing End as Talks Continue With Valencia

"?The father-agent of West Ham United loanee Simone Zaza has admitted that his son's time at the club is nearing the end, while also suggesting that talks are currently ongoing with La Liga side Valencia.

Since his move to east London from Serie A champions Juventus on loan at the start of the season, the Italian international has made just 10 appearances in all competitions, failing to hit the back of the net at all during that time, falling out of favour with both the fans and boss Slaven Bilic.

And according to Italian journalist "?Gianluca Di Marzio, via Tuttosport, the player's father Antonio has revealed his son is looking for a swift end with the Premier League side, but has indicated that there will be no return to current parent club Juventus, and instead is looking to move to Spain with Valencia reportedly interested.

However, Antonio has not ruled out completely a move back to the Serie A for Simone, with the deal likely to be made in the January transfer window with the Hammers keen to cut short the player's spell in England.

"We are not considering the idea of a Juventus return," said Antonio.

"Simone's adventure at West Ham is coming to an end and we are evaluating different paths. We are negotiating with Valencia but it's only the concrete solution we are looking for.

"Clearly my son would be happy to work with a great manager like Cesare Prandelli [Valencia head coach], but I'm not ruling out that Simone returns to the Serie A."
