It appears Kotoko have given up on their Premier League defense after a famous member of the communication team Ali Maradona conceded defeat in the title chase.
The champions lost 2-1 at home to New Edubiase on Sunday, which followed their 3-1 thrashing at Heart of Lions.
With 17 league games played, Kotoko are lying at a disappointing 11th, and stand 11 points behind pace-setters Ashantigold.
And a member of the club's communication team Ali Maradona has written off the club to stage a comeback.
“We can’t win the league, so there is the need to take that pressure away from the team. Any time Kotoko lose matches in Kumasi, it becomes difficult for us to win the league title, he is quoted by Kumasi-based Metro FM.
