FA CUP: Iheanacho's goal enough to send Leicester to next round

Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho scored the only goal for Leicester City, with an instinctive finish in their English FA Cup encounter against Gillingham on Saturday.

 

After struggling in the English Premier League the former Manchester City player continued his impressive form in a cup competition he seems to be the master in.

 

The goal is his 16th and goal involvement in 22 appearances (15 starts) in the FA Cup which makes the highest goal scorer since he made his first appearance in the competition in 2016.

 

His still the Highest Scoring African in FA Cup History. Next in line is still Drogba (12).

 

The goal which was scored in the 56th minute at the Priestfield Stadium sends Leicester City to the FA Cup fourth round.

 

Meanwhile, his compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi played for 9 minutes as a substitute.
