Ghana striker Matthew Amoah’s move to Dutch fourth-tier side DOVO is off, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The Veenendaalse Newspaper reports that Amoah could only be ready to play in April according to the regulations.
It is for this reason that DOVO have decided to opt out of the deal.
The 34-year-old visited the Veenendaalse-club last week and watched them play Montfoort in a 0-0 draw.
Amoah has played in the Dutch top-flight league for Vitesse, NAC Breda, Heerenveen and Heracles Almelo.
He has scored 56 goals in 146 matches in the Dutch league.
