EXCLUSIVE: Oti Akenteng assigned Ghana's Group as CAF Technical Study Group member for AFCON
Francis Oti Akenten is a CAF TSG member for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Veteran Ghanaian coach Francis Oti Akenteng will be the CAF Technical Study Group member in-charge of Group C at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The former King Faisal and Hearts of Oak coach is one of four experts appointed by the Confederation of African Football for the continent’s flagship event.

He will be based in Mongomo and will watch all Group matches to be played at the venue including the one of the final Group D matches between Guinea and Mali on 28 January.

“I can confirm my appointment to be part of the Technical Study Group for the AFCON and I see this has part of the learning process. I have been assigned Group C where the Black Stars are based so I hope to do a good job for CAF,” Akenteng exclusively told GHANASoccernet.com.

Members of the Technical Study Group analyze matches and highlight the latest trends in the game.

The 2015 African Cup of Nations will run from 17 January to 08 February.

Last year, Akenteng was a member of the CAF Technical Study Group at the African Nations Championship in South Africa.

He was again one of two CAF’s TSG at the 2014 African Women’s Championship in Namibia.
