Samuel Yeboah has arrived in India to undergo a trial

Ghanaian striker Samuel Yeboah has arrived in India to undergo a trial with top-flight side Mohun Bagan with the aim of bolstering the squad in the upcoming season, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 29-year-old, who plays for Ghanaian top-flight club Heart of Lions, arrived in the country on Sunday to undergo the test for two weeks.

Bagan are also looking or a foreign striker and Ghanian marksman Samuel Yeboah landed in the city with the hope of impressing and sealing a contract.

Samuel, who turned out for Heart of Lions Football Club in the Ghana Premier League last Sunday, also comes with a recommendation from Nigerian star Jay-Jay Okocha.

"I am confident that I can impress in the trials and can get selected," said the 29-year-old who has played in the Europa League in the past for Belgian side Genk.

Yeboah has also represented the Ghana senior national team in friendlies and African Cup qualifiers and also claimed to have played alongside World Cup star Michael Essien.
