Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Thai side Nakhon Ratchasima, Africanfootball.com has exclusively reported.

Reports in the local media claimed the board of the club had cancelled his contract after doubts about his fitness and high demands.

But sources close to the player insisted he never signed a deal and had no issues with the board.

Adiyiah, who was 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup top scorer and Most Valuable Player, has been struggling to meet expectations.

It is suspected that the former AC Milan player was lured by the juicy financial package involved in the deal.

Adiyiah held talks with Swedish side Halmstads and SK Lierse of Belgium but both clubs could not meet his demands.

The 25-year-old has seen him featured for clubs in Serbia, Turkish and Kazakhstan.
