Ghana’s Africa Cup of Nations revelation Afriyie Acquah is set to begin his career at Italian Serie A giants Sampdoria after passing a medical on Thursday, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
Ghana’s leading football website, www.GHANASoccernet.com, can report that the medical was done at Laboratorio Albaro in Genova.
Sampdoria signed of the combative midfielder on a six-month loan deal before the transfer window shut last month.
Acquah had been on loan Parma for the past 18 months from German Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim.
