Ex-Nigeria international Edema Fuludu has predicted the final of AFCON 2015 will be between Ghana and Algeria.
Chairman Delta State League Management board Fuludu told AfricanFootball.com that both countries look good to win the trophy in the absence of the defending champions Nigeria.
"It is very unfortunate that we won't be in Equatorial Guinea to defend our title. I am not happy that we won't be there as a Nigerian and a stakeholder, but we shot ourselves in the foot,” he said.
"Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Algeria are good to win, but I will pick Algeria and Ghana for final.
“I rated both teams highly at the World Cup in Brazil and we can see them play robust and cohesive football. They are the teams to beat unless they come the tournament for a jamboree, they have what it take to go that far. "
Fuludu won AFCON 1994 with Nigeria and also played in USA Gold Cup in 1995.
