Former Flying Eagles defender Daniel Adejo has penned a fresh three year deal with Italian Serie B side Vicenza, owngoalnigeria.com understands. Adejo moved to Vicenza in January on a short term deal after leaving Kalloni of Greece and the 26 year old played a vital role in helping the team retain their Serie B status at the end of the season.
He played 12 times in the league and got sent off in their final game of the season against Latina for accumulated bookings but already he has done enough to suggest to the team handlers he deserves an extension.
Adejo was a member of the Nigeria U-20 team to the World Youth Championship in 2009 same season he had his breakthrough in the Serie A with Reggina where he spent six seasons before moving to Kalloni of Greece.
