"?Former England manager Roy Hodgson is reportedly in demand in the wealthy world of the Chinese Super League and could potentially land a contract worth more than double what he was earning in charge of the Three Lions, who crashed out of Euro 2016 in the first knockout round.
According to the Daily Mirror, Hodgson stands to make up to £8m-per-year if he takes the plunge and makes the move to the Asian powerhouse.
The 69-year-old was well travelled in his younger days as a coach, taking charge of club sides in Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark and Norway, as well as spells with the UAE and Finland national teams, before returning home in 2007 to answer Fulham's call.
Whether he would still want the adventure just 10 months shy of his 70th birthday remains to be seen, despite the obvious huge financial incentive.
No specific club is named by the Mirror's report, but the likes of Shanghai SIPG, Guangzhou Evergrande and Hebei China Fortune already employ big name coaches in Sven Goran Eriksson, Luiz Felipe Scolari and Manuel Pellegrini respectively.
It is suggested that several agents have been given permission to contact and proposition Hodgson on behalf of the clubs they are working for.
The last silverware of Hodgson's managerial career came in 2001 when he guided Copenhagen to the Danish Superliga title. Prior to that, he'd won five Allsvenskan titles with Malmo in Sweden during the 1980s and two more with Halmstads in the 1970s.
More recently, he guided Fulham to the 2010 Europa League final where his plucky Cottagers finished on the losing side to Atletico Madrid.
