Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman has charged his team, Atalanta to be on A-game when they face Bayer Leverkusen tonight I’m final of the UEFA Europa League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Italian team have been without a trough in 61 years and are aiming to secure their first European title at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Facing the unbeaten Bundesliga champions in the grand in Dublin, Lookman acknowledged the need to be at the top of their game.
“It’s a big occasion for us as a club, as players, as a team, so I’m looking forward to it. We need to be at the top of our game. We know that coming into the tie against a top team, we play top football,” the winger told the club’s official website.
“Like we’ve shown this season, we play our football to the best of our abilities and we do the necessary.”
While Xavi Alonso’s side are aiming for the second title this season, Atalanta already lost one against Juventus in the Coppa Italia final.
