Esperance issue stern warning to Hearts with 6-1 demolishing in domestic league
Samuel Eduok led the rout with a hat-trick

Esperance run 6-1 amok in their Tunisian Ligue 1 match against Stade Gabesein on Saturday to serve a stern warning to Hearts of Oak ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash.

Nigerian striker Samuel Eduok led the rout with a hat trick in the game that will certainly send shivers down the spine of Hearts of Oak.

Hocine Ragued and Haythem Jouini all got in on the act after Yannick N’Djeng had begun the demolishing exercise with a second minute penalty.

Ghana defender Harrison Afful also featured for the Tunisian giants.

The Blood and Gold however remain two points adrift leaders Club Africain despite the impressive win after 28 rounds of matches.

They will be hosting the Hearts in the first leg of the final qualifying tie in the Confederation Cup on Sunday in a repeat of their bitter CAF Champions League defeat against the Ghanaian giants in 2000.
