According to the online edition of The Sun UK, the Anglo-Nigerian winger is one of five players to have been kicked out of Manchester United's training ground dressing room to make space for new signings.

United bolstered their squad with the signings of Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka this summer.

And with the AON Training Centre meant for a maximum of twenty-four players, Shoretire and four other players namely Phil Jones, Brandon Williams, Teden Mengi and Axel Tuanzebe have been moved to the U21s changing room.

Although Shoretire mainly plays for the U21s, he is listed as a first teamer on United's official webpage.

The 18-year-old was heavily linked with a loan move this summer but stayed put at Old Trafford at the close of the transfer window.

He trained with the first team before their Premier League meeting with Arsenal but was omitted from the matchday squad on Sunday, a day after featuring for the U21s against Liverpool in the Premier League 2.
