Nigeria's Alex Iwobi put up another great performance display to help Everton breeze past Brighton in the English Premier League as they continued their battle out of relegation, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

He assisted one of Everton's goal in their 1-5 away victory over high flying, Brighton at the AMEX on Monday.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin connected with an Abdoulaye Doucoure delivery to score the first goal in the first minute.

Doucoure scored a goal of his own in the 29th minute later before Jason Steele turned the ball into his own net six minutes later compounding a miserable half for the Seagulls.

Iwobi found Dwight McNeil for the fourth goal, but MacAllister pulled one back for the host before McNeil scored his second of the day to make the score line 1-5.

Alex Iwobi made 14 ball recoveries in the game, at least three more than any other player on the pitch.

He has now provided seven Premier League assists this season, the most he’s ever managed in a single campaign, his first one since February.

He equals Peter Odemwingie's record (2010/11) of most assists by a Nigerian in a single English Premier League season.
