Nottingham Forest's momentum was halted on Saturday as they suffered a 2-1 defeat with Nigerian defender, Calvin Bassey getting the winner for Fulham at Craven Cottage, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Forest had been riding high after their stunning 7-0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend, but the host came into the game prepared.
Fulham took the lead through Emile Smith Rowe's 28th-minute strike, but Forest responded 10 minutes later with Chris Wood's equaliser.
However, it was defender Bassey, who proved to be the match-winner, scoring in the 67th minute to secure all three points for the Cottagers.

Meanwhile, Bassey's compatriots, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina both involved for almost all of the regular minutes.
