Nigerian champions, Enyimba, have not completed the signing of Chinedu Efugh from rivals, Heartland, according to reports.
Efugh has become of the top players on the wishlist of the Peoples Elephant following the potential departure of Markson Ojobo from Aba. Ojobo has been linked with a move to Sunshine Stars.
However, the deal to bring Efugh to Aba is still pending as Enyimba are still locked in discussion with their southeast rivals, Heartland.
Supersport.com was told that Efugh is keen to make the move across from Owerri to Aba based on the lure of featuring in the Caf Champions League.
"Nothing is done yet on signing him. Talks are still on," said an official of Enyimba to supersport.com.
Enyimba are currently preparing for the 2016 Caf Champions League and are camped in the southwest town of Otta in Nigeria.
