Enyimba Players Depart From NPFL-AllStar Camp Ahead Of Zamalek Cracker

Five Enyimba stars Friday departed the Cadiz hotel of NPFL All-Stars for Egypt ahead of a crucial CAF Champions League Group B clash against Zamalek.

The players were led out by skipper Chinedu Udoji and they include Joseph Osadiaye, Chima Akas, Dare Ojo and goalkeeper Theo Afelokhai.

However, winger Ezekiel Bassey, who has struggled for form for most of this year, did not make the trip.

It was planned for the players to hit Egypt directly from Spain after the friendly against Valencia CF.

Enyimba battle Zamalek in Cairo at the weekend.

The match has been rescheduled to Saturday from Sunday due to security concerns.

Zamalek won the reverse fixture 1-0 in Port Harcourt and Enyimba need to avenge this loss to stand any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals of the competition.
