Enyimba Capable Of Reaching CCL Finale- LMC Chairman

Chairman of League Management Company, Malam Shehu Dikko, insists that Enyimba's 0-1 loss to Zamalek at home will not stop the Aba giants from qualifying for the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League (CCL).

Dikko told reporters that it was unfortunate that Enyimba lost the match in Port Harcourt after dominating the game, expressing optimism that they will overcome the setback and qualify from the group stage for the semi-finals.

"Those of us at the NFF and LMC will continue to give Enyimba all the support needed to succeed. Our calculation was to win all the home games and try and pick some points on the road, but the first game did not go well. I am confident Enyimba will get going from their next game," Dikko stated during a chat.

"Zamalek were lucky to have converted their only attempt at goal. Enyimba frittered some many scoring chances away and the water logged pitch did not help matters. Enyimba have the quality to go all the way to the final. The next game will go a long way in showing what they can do."

Dikko said the LMC will meet with Enyimba officials to strategize on the remaining matches that ensure they qualify from the group.
