English Championship clubs Ipswich Town and Brentford are considering moves to sign Ghanaian youth international Koby Arthur who is out of contract at Birmingham City, according to reports. 

The supremely gifted midfielder has refused to sign a new contract with Birmingham City and is heading for the exit gates after they failed to offer him enough first team opportunities.

Ipswich Town and Brentford, who both finished last season in play-off positions in the Sky Bet Championship, are both interested in signing the youngster who was once a target of big-guns Manchester City and Chelsea.

Arthur's agent Saif Rubie busily engaging interested clubs to secure a move for the player in 14 days as the new season looms closer.

    He maybe out of contract, but if he leaves BCFC his new club will still have to pay a fee as he is under 24. Both of these clubs probably wouldn't spend a fee decided by a tribunal on an unproven 19 year old, who could easily get into BCFC's team if he applied himself enough. Demarai Gray has done that.
