Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa believes that Saturday’s World Cup build-up game against the Three Lions of England will boost the Super Eagles confidence ahead of the tournament in Russia.

The Leicester City of England star, who is on loan to CSKA Moscow of Russia, says either a win or draw will be good for the Super Eagles to go into the World Cup.

“This game is not all about winning but to tune up for the World Cup,” the Super Eagles striker told Completesportsnigeria.com.

“A win or a draw will boost our confidence going to the World Cup, so we will play not to lose.”

Musa also reckoned that the Super Eagles and they have to give their best to make sure Nigerians are not disappointed on Saturday.

“It is a big game for us and we shall give it our best shot,” he added.

The match will be played at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday and Nigerians are already looking forward to a better performance from the team after their 1-1 home draw with DR Congo in Monday’s farewell match played in Port Harcourt.
