Real Madrid forward Endrick says he is prepared to compete for a starting position despite finding opportunities difficult to come by this season.
The 20-year-old Brazilian has made very few appearances during the current campaign, but he made a decisive impact in the Champions League meeting with Roma.
Endrick came on in the 59th minute and scored in the 85th as Real Madrid secured a 4-3 victory. It was only his second appearance of the season.
Asked about his future and his situation in Jose Mourinho’s team, Endrick said he was ready to continue fighting for a place in the starting line-up, despite the challenges he currently faces.
Real Madrid’s next match is against Sevilla in La Liga on 18 October.
